Last year, all the cool kids had gaiters and I was getting snow in my ankles. Bummer. THIS year I am rocking the hottest gaiters of them all. Basically these gaiters are classic and make your calfs look wicked cut from every angle. I feel like a super model when I am wearing these. I bought these a couple of months back to fit my 18" calfs - they fit perfectly even with a boot cut jean underneath and stay fastened surprisingly well considering the velcro fastening system. I use gaiters for walking around in the winter in jeans and leather hiking boots, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. These gaiters keep my legs warm outside and are not overly hot when indoors or extra active ourdoors. They vent really well.There are pockets on the outside that could hold, like, a tissue, or a picture of a beagle, or some other small, flat thing. A house key? Why not.Also there is a metal toe clip that keeps the gaiter fastened to your boot in the front, and an elastic to tighten the top and mold the material to the top calf to hold everything in place.I primarily use gaiters for looking awesome, and secondarily for keeping the snow out of my ankles. These ones do both - so, win win. They are more convenient than snow pants and definitely 10000 X more fashionable. And there is no better time for a fashion show than by yourself, in the woods, surrounded by snow. Fact. Gaiters for the win.

These Hiking Hatter's serve it's purpose as leg protection. At the bottom of the Gatter where the strap goes underneath the soul of the shoe - this strap is not holding up and is wearing out from use. The top of the Gatter's are in excellent condition.

These work very well, walked 3 days in heavy brush and theystayed up and in place. kept debris out of my boots.The only problem I have with them are the zipper pockets on the side of the gaiter.It doesn't need pockets, I have pockets. In fact one of the zippers broke off the pocket of thegaiter and the pocket opened up and filled up with weeds, seeds and debris.

These came in handy for the ton of snow this year, they keep the snow from getting into my hiking boots and kept the mud off my paints as the trails melted. I didn't realize one of the elastic cords isn't in the cord lock properly on one, it wouldn't tighten but it stayed up.

Great product, feet kept dry and warm in an overnight winter hike. Temp was in single digits and snow on average was calf high and at times was up to waist. NO ISSUES. Great trip mostly cause I had warm leg and feet. For fit I am 70 inches and have 21 inch calfskin fit perfectly.

These were a little bigger than expected but they worked and held up so far for a couple uses this winter. We will be able to use again next year as they had room to grow.

Looks to be well made. I like the "warmer" pockets. Time will tell how loud they are while hunting.

Have not had a chance for functional testing yet, big hike is in 2 weeks. Finding gaiters which fit children is not that easy. Strap is reinforced and elastic appears to cinch very tight at top. We anticipate hitting some snow fields and lots of scree and it looks like these will do. Purchased for 9 and 10 year old
