Good bang for your buck!
I have had this Eversecu 4 camera system and NVR up and running for just over a week now (11-30-2020). Installing a hard drive was straight forward and the system recognized it immediately. I had initially connected it all indoors just to make sure everything worked. I was able to view the cameras via the NVR web interface but for some reason that stopped working and would only give me still pictures. Also, when trying to configure any settings via the web interface they would not stick. There is some PC software available but its for viewing cameras and playback not configuring everything - configuring is best done directly on the NVR box with a monitor and mouse plugged in.3 of the cameras are now installed outside and each can be configured with its own settings. I have my front cam in full time color mode as there is a street lamp across the street with keeps things illuminated at night and the 2 others in smart mode (they automatically switch to night vision mode). You can set up motion detection, sensitivity, motion zones and get alerts via the app or email. The alerts come through very quickly on the Android app (IP Pro) and viewing works very well too. For playback on the app you can zoom in on the red lines created in the blue time line, scroll to the beginning of the alert (red area) and press play to see what happened. You can view anywhere along the recorded time line for each camera. Motion detection is working very well for me. I was initially concerned that passing cars triggering too many alerts but I'm not having that issue (the viewing angle is not as wide as my previous USB style camera and is pointed more away from the street). I have motion detection set for human detection which creates a red box around the passing humanoids. It's picking up people walking on the sidewalk in front of my house and in the back alley which is about 75 feet from my "side back" cam. Picture quality is very good.Overall I am very impressed with this system and how it is working. I would recommend this entry level system - it has given me some piece of mind that I can record anyone on my property and I'm hoping that it will be a deterrent for would be intruders.A note about support - I did have a couple of questions which I emailed late at night. I had a response waiting the next morning.

Continuous Motion Detected
I got this to replace another 1080p system which died after a few years. This was easy enough to set up (I've set up several for myself, friends, and family). The problem is the motion detection sucks. It detects motion every couple minutes. I've put it on the lowest sensitivity and masked only a small section in which to detect motion; yet it still continually says there is motion. Most of these systems don't actually detect motion, but instead detect changes in light. This system sends out 20-30 motion detections an hour. It makes it useless for keeping an eye on your house. Also, Yahoo suspended my email account because with so many email alerts being sent it looks like I'm spamming and was repeatedly flagged for suspicious activity. Additionally, after 2 months, one of the cameras has stopped recording.

Easy setup, good customer service, and great picture quality.
I have bought many different systems such as DVR, wireless NVR, wireless cameras but they are not as good as this NVR Poe system. The picture is clear and the recording is much more reliable than that of the wireless system. The price is very good, it’s much less than that of an equivalent system. The setup is very simple and the system can be used without the hard drive if recording is not needed.Highly recommended.I am very please with the first two systems I bought so I bought a third one.

True POE
Update 7/31/2019I can't get the replacement camera to work. The other three and the rest of the system seems to work fine.Update 6/27/2019The seller got back to me and said that they are sending one replacement camera. They also sent me the Amazon link for where to buy replacement cameras. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GPGPV67 (Eversecu Security Camera H.265 1080P POE(Power Over Ethernet) IP Camera Outdoor)I'll update when I get the camera.Update 6/15/2019There's been no help from customer service. I even contacted them via their website. So I have a system with three cameras working.Update 6/6/2019One of the four cameras died yesterday. I replaced the Ethernet cable to verify it was the camera. Everything else is working as expected.Old:I bought another system here on Amazon that claimed to be POE. It wasn't.This one worked immediately with a POE switch allowing me to hang less cables to the cameras.I added in a hard drive and the system worked immediately out of the box.Cameras are good quality and seem very sturdy. The Ethernet cables are thick and seem to be of a good quality.CONS:-The software is a little confusing. For example, finding the motion settings took a while, although the instructions were detailed.- No weather jackets on the Ethernet cords, even though the cameras themselves have jackets- The NVR does not have a physical switch to turn it off. It has to be unplugged, which has sparked for me every time.I'll update later when I have more time with the system.

Very useful, great cameras
Purchased this item to secure my home. It was worth it. Worked well, after a bit of setup drama. I would buy gain. Actually recommended to a friend. Want to get a another to make 8 cameras. No problems so far, it was worth the buy.

Worth the money
You get a lot for your money. The system is a little clunky but the small manual they gave me helped me set it up pretty easily. I just use it for home hooked up to the TV and I can view it on my phone from the app they suggested. I'm happy with my purchase.
