I used to have shoulder-length thick flowing locks and a ZZ Top beard but times change and age moves on. In recent years I've opted for the instruction "1 on top and 1½ on face and beard" as the settings for my barber to use. After about 6 weeks lockdown I felt uncomfortable so bit the bullet and bought this shaver. I've never used an electric razor in my life so this was new territory . . . not to mention never having shaved the top or back of my head!The result as far as the look goes may not be up to Michelle's standard (my barber in the village where I live) but it's OK and as far as the shaver is concerned, it did a great job. REALLY easy and comfortable to use. The clip-on attachments to control depth of cut worked superbly. There is also a separate switch on the shaver itself for 3 different low-cut settings. I will return to Michelle once her little barber's place opens again (I enjoy that chats), but until then the Elehot is a Grade One Highly Recommended Buy from me.Battery life looks good and the provided power supply works a treat. I can't find a single niggle to complain about. 100% satisfied.If you also bite the bullet and have a go - be prepared to be creative as regards shaving and checking the top and back of your head. Well this is another item on that list of products you would not normally buy but I needed a hair cut so got these to cut the families hair and was left extremely disappointed.In terms of doing a job it does you have the various lengths and it cuts well but charging takes forever and it does not last long when it is charged. I found myself plugging this in to charge for ages and it never once managed to keep a decent charge.Then one day it decided to stop entirely charging it was like it had given up on the 3rd charge it had been used around 45 minutes and it stopped working so hard to send it back. Not only is this a problem but the plastic number cutters to attach felt cheap and poor like they would break very easily.

This seems to be a well made, good weight trimmer, and the right price level. My only concern is that the cutting lengths are limited, there are no sizes between 2.5mm and 4mm for beard trimming. So will have to go slightly longer than my husbands normal 3mm.

Love the attention to detail that comes with the added small brush for getting out those tiny hairs from the blades, guards are labelled with lengths which is great and the charger is satisfying. Great buy.

Product looks quality and does the job so well and easy to use and seems to be good value for the money. For a short back and sides you need someone to help. First attempt to cut my hair was successful and reckon I’ll keep to the DIY haircut from now on, sorry to my barbers who I have been with for all these years past.

Great for the price. Easy to clean and it comes with its own little cleaning brush. Good selection of attachments and the best thing about it is that it's cordless. Great find!

I couldn’t turn it off for 5minutes and didn’t know what to do. Luckily it stopped as the battery ran out and it is back to normal now.Used it to cut husband’s hair was great to use.
