I liked the concept, however the execution was a joke.1) the knife looked impressive, however was neither sharp enough or bulky enough to cut a watermelon even approximately in half. It kefp being diverted to one sid eor another leaving two pieces not fir for either of the other tools to be used2 The scoop cutter tool broke the first time I tried to use it. The end with pin broke and the tool is not sturdy enough to cut through the center of the watermelon without the sides squeezing together and making he slice even. Also, the pin is too thick to cut so it forces itself through the watermelon creating lots of juiceIt also does not create a full scoop section3. The wind mill tool (my description) does npot cut well or evenly. When it got to the far side of the watermelon, instead of cutting cleanly through, it broke through with an uneven chunk on the end. Finally, on the second (2nd!! that is the pass after the FIRST!!!) the left mount for the wheel thingy broke making it completely unusable.However, I will say this. It camein a nice box which is why I gave it 5 stars for giftable, as long as I was giving it to someone I did not really like very much if at all.

As others have stated, this was so awesome I’ve bought it for a birthday gift for someone the other day after using mine a few times. The box it comes in is really nice and I’ve kept mine for storing all the pieces. It really is fun to use which I must admit sounds crazy, but it is kind of addicting. I wouldn’t necessarily say it makes cutting a watermelon mess free, but it is a little less messy and a quicker process. Let’s face it. If you get a really juicy watermelon, it’s going to find a way to get everywhere. Also, each time I use it, I get a little better at it. Would definitely recommend this if you are considering buying it.

I was pleasantly surprised when this came in and the packaging was top notch in it's shrink wrapped large box. Even the instructions it came with was simple and straight forward. Cut in half and use the windmill tool to get all that delicious watermelon goodness. The watermelon slicer is a nice size for any watermelon you need to cut in half. Other than some small splatter from my eagerness I was able to quickly go from uncut to nicely sliced and ready to eat chunks in no time! Definitely recommended!

When this order came on the date it was expected to come, we have just bought a big watermelon. My wife was curious to use these at once and we did. We had fun using these and like the results. The quality of these gadgets seems good. They are easy to use and to clean. They came also in a nice box. We love it!

My husband got this set for me cor a Christmas present. While I was initially hesitant--I don't buy kitchen gadgets unless they work better than my basic tools--this as proved to be a winner. My teenage son especially likes playing around with the tools (a.k.a. slicing and dicing the watermelon).

Beautifully Boxed! Works great, it’s really amazing! I had a huge watermelon and the knife cut through it like butter, slicer and cube tool were just as easy to use. I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend

This is SUCH a classy gift. I was not expecting how well packaged it would be...and BIG! The tools are beautifully crafted and sharp. The instructions make the tools easy to use and intuitive. This is a quality product!
