Smart Relay Works for low voltage loads too
This is a flexible smart home module that is actually an isolated relay that can switch 120V or 230V loads but it can also switch low voltage circuits. I used it to control a millivolt gas fireplace. The only thing that kept from this being 5 stars is the only examples shown were line powered lights and the limitations of the Smart Life app. The app requires your phone and the module be on the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network to setup. Our AT&T router uses the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. I had to log into the router and disable the 5 GHz band so my iPhone would be on 2.4 GHz while setting up the module. Once it was working it still worked fine once I turned the 5 GHz band back on. Once it worked withe the Smart Life app it was easy to add it to Alexa using the Amazon Alexa app on my phone.

Awesome
Just what I needed to make my ceiling lamp a smart light. I had originally planned on using a smart switch, replacing on of the three-way switches. Unfortunately, my house wiring did not support that option. My wiring has the power cable going to the light, and a second wire going to the switch. This means the switch location has neither a neutral nor a line wire. Using the Smart WiFi Switch Relay in the lamp works. Installing the wiring was easy. Adding the switch to my WiFi was fairly easy; the instructions are not very good so patience is and trial and error is needed. Once it was installed the switch worked well.

Running on an extender with sporadic results. Bit of a science project.
Will be using to control a relay that turns a pond Fountain on at dawn and off at dusk. I selected this device because I can still use my manual override when the fountain pump needs maintenance. I have not set up automation in my smart home app for a while so took me a while to figure out how to configure. Currently I am still testing using a test light and switch that will ensure all is working before using it on my pump. My experience with the test setup has been a little sporadic at dawn when the switch should turn on. One time the unit went off line and had to power reset it to get it back on line. The second time it did not turn on at dawn even though the smart life app said it was successful. Still testing. My be partly due to the distance from the switch to my router. The switch is in my garage and the router is in the opposite end of my house. I use a WiFi extender in my garage that the switch is connected too and the signal for the extended sometimes is weak. Will continue to experiment and test until I feel it is reliable.

Cheap Chinese POS
Spent a LOT of time trying to figure out how to install this thing. I am not a certified electrician, but I worked with my Dad who is one for YEARS. The installation guide is written in micro-print. And the quality is so poor that if you take a picture and try to blow it up, you can't read that either.I ASSUMED that L meant Load. In the US there are HOT and Nuetral. Again - Chinese. I spent several hours just getting into the wiring box to hook this up and DOA. Yes, I know how to use a volt meter, and the L switch was putting out zero volts. I got it to pair (not straightforward either), but my phone turned it on and off (could hear the click in the box). Hooked up correctly, paired correctly, ZERO power to the light. NOW another several hours to put everything back and clean up the mess I made. WHOLE morning gone over a cheap POS. Avoid - or buy several just in case. Now back to Amazon where I'll find something more reputable.

Great for making normal switches "smart switches"
I've installed this where an existing single switch controlled a light and in another application where 2 switches controlled a light (3-way) and this module worked in both applications. It can work in a 4-way or greater situation as well. It can even work if there is no switch at all and you want to control your light by app only. It really is a great idea and way of integrating your current switches and adding the ability to turn them on and off from an app with a lot of other capabilities as well. The beauty of this module is that the switch input is a single input. So if you already have a switch installed (or multiple switches for one light, you put this module in between your last switch and the light bulb. If one of the switches changes state (no matter if it is going ON to OFF or OFF to ON - changing state is all that matters to the module) then the output from this module will toggle the state the light bulb from ON to OFF or OFF to ON. It will then update the app to show the current state of the light bulb.So in an example if you go to a local switch and turn it on and the light turns on, you can go in the app and turn the light off. The local switch will still be in it's "on" position, but the light is now off. So then you can turn the switch "off" and the light will now turn on because it saw a change of state in the switch.I hope this makes sense. It is simple but sometimes saying it different ways helps understanding how it works and hopefully I did that.

Great concept... but it only worked for a few weeks
This is a very versatile product that allows you to use your existing wall switches, HOWEVER, the device's WiFi radio stopped working about 3 weeks after it was installed.

Once set up, works well
I am using this to control a low voltage line (pool heater). It does one thing well--very simple on/off remote function. There is also some limited scheduling availability, which also works fine. A little complicated to set up and connect to wifi, but stable once done. Good value.
