HICTOP 220 x 220mm MK3 Aluminum Heated Bed Hot Bed PCB Heatbed Platform for Reprap 3D Printer 250W 12V + Wiring

The heated bed that wad sent me is the 12v version and not the 24v as advertised. I almost damaged my 24v power supply trying to get it to work, fortunately I have a decent power supply with overload protection and it kept shutting off every time I connected the heated bed, and when I measured the resistance, it gave me 1 ohm, half what it should be for the 24v bed, and when I connected it to my old 12v power supply, it worked. I don't know if the bed I got was sent by mistake or the seller isn't totally honest about their product's specifications.I bought this heated bed because it was listed as 24v. If I wanted a 12v bed, I wouldn't have went through the trouble of waiting for it for 10 days.

I am amazed with this bed, once I had a PSU that could handle it, it blew my mind as it heated up to 100c faster than my hotend could reach 220. Used to the bed taking an additional 10min after the hotend is finished, but not with this beast.

Platform heats quickly and installed just fine in my custom CoreXY build.Happy customer.

No LED or resistor to indicate power, so I just added them. Make sure you reflow the before you use it or you will be doing it in a few days.... all of them were cold solder joints as broke quickly.

Amazon had shipped it late, so by the time it arrived I really needed my printer going. I took it out of the bubble wrap and the soldered connector fell off. I looked where it was supposed to be attached and it had completely broken. Had to return it and get another one. 3 days later I got it and that one was in good shape. Works just as good as the original bed I had on the Anet A8.

Poor soldering on the 6 pin connector a couple of the pins look like cold solder joints, as not enough flux and heat was used, there are no LEDS or a resistor like in the picture, so there is no indication that the bed is heating or has cooled off. and comparing this to my 12v heated bed it looks the same which is leading me to believe I could just use mine on 24v

Would like to have some instructions. Does not come with components so if you are expecting it... Fuggetaboutit. The other side is blank aluminum. Be ready for that. It doesn't show a picture of the aluminum side, probably on purpose. You kind of are getting what you pay for. Want something better? Pay $40+.

I received this board with awfully done solder joints. Luckily I generally remove the plug connector from my beds and solder the wires on directly so it was inconsequential for me, but the quality of those joints is inexcusable, so beware
