DOA... Would not buy again
Did not work at all, basically garbage just haven't taken the time to throw it away yet. Clearly I received a defective unit, which obviously does happen with electronics. Due to some reno hold ups didn't have the opportunity to test unit until after the 30 days return window. Other than not working the build quality seems good, all expected items in box, not a complex piece of technology very disappointing it's defective. Thank goodness it was cheep.Too bad my schedule precluded being able to take advantage of Amazon's 5* customer service, good luck trying to find this company's website.

Excellent IR Controller Unit!
I had two devices that I needed to control that were on a shelf beside the fireplace, but hidden behind a chair (home theater and cable box). I placed two of the four Sumnacon transmitter ends over the IR receivers on the HT and the cable boxes, running the wires underneath and coming up the front so they aren't noticeable. I placed the Sumnacon transmitter at the base of the TV (which is over the fireplace mantle) and hid the wire into the back edge of the mantle, then off to the side where the HT and cable boxes are. This thing works perfectly without any delay that I can notice.

I have a new Logitech 650 remote and a new Vizio 65" TV. I can't get a consistent response from this repeater(which is mounted on top of the TV at 5ft). If I am not directly in line with the receiver eye it usually doesn't work, and I mean straight in line. If I stand within one foot and in a straight line it seems to work better. This unit is supposed to work up to 18'. Most of the time I have to repeatedly hit the remote button. Very frustrating to say the least! The remote has new batteries and the emitter doesn't work any better with the other remotes.

All the lights blink like they should and everything
I am posting a review because I really can't ask a detailed question. The asking option allows only a few words. Understandable. But, I can't get it to work. I am going to reserve judgment until I get a replacement and hook it up. It's so strange. All the lights blink like they should and everything. I figure that for this price delivered one should expect more than a few that are DOA.

I'm very pleased with my purchase
Product worked well. For the price you're not going to beat this thing. I wanted something usb driven and I wanted to be able to extend the repeater with a 3.5mm pin audio style cable because I had an unused one run from the tv I was using to the audio receiver I wanted to control. The little receiver part blinks when it is getting an IR signal and repeating which helped me figure out where to place it. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and may get one again for another room.

Impressive..
I ordered this extender to control 4 hidden indoor devices while I sit outdoors with a Harmony remote on the patio. Preliminary tests (still cold here) were successful from about 25 feet from the eye through a door-wall screen. Easy to install once you locate the remote sensor on your audio or video device.

Poor power cord placement
I wish the power cord connected on the side where the components are vs the side that is behind the TV. The plug is not small and barely fits behind my TV.

Remarkably easy to set up and works perfectly
This product works great and is super simple to set up. I had it out of the box and operational is less than 5 minutes. There is no noticeable lag time between hitting the remote and the target device responding. Very pleased with this purchase.
