NEW Tactical Flip Up Iron Sight Rear/Front Sight Mount

I'm giving 3 stars because the quality control/consistency isn't there. The first set I received seemed great at first. They "snapped" nicely into place and locked in both the folded and upright positions. The button pressed easily and they moved very smoothly. However, I couldn't adjust elevation with a standard front sight tool... ended up using a small screwdriver and my fingers (-1 Star). After sighting in and firing only 16 rounds total through my AR, the front sight wouldn't fold down without a fight. The button became hard to press, the finish was scraping off, metal was being scratched out of the joint... broken (-1 Star).I contacted the seller - they sent me a replacement pair. This set was pretty bad right out of the box. The tactile "snap" wasn't there, only locked in the upright position. This front sight would have easily moved from folded to upright based on recoil alone (-1 Star).I contacted the seller again - received another replacement. The seller earned 5 stars and a great review in this transaction, by the way. This time, I completely disassembled the front sight before installing - not a difficult task, only required a vise, punch and hammer - this is where I found the design flaws. All the internals were 'dry' and sharp. Also, the front sight post was able to extend into the release hole - interfering with the spring inside the button, possibly binding it up.Long story short - After disassembly I sanded, deburred, polished and repainted all the components. I trimmed/filed the front sight post so, even in the lowest position, it can't interfere. Lubed all parts and reassembled. In total I estimate 20 minutes worth of work.Now this set works great (+1 Star) and I am very pleased with the purchase.

Was looking for a cheap pair of iron sights for my patrol ar so be used as a back up to my optic. Surprisngly this sight is easy to setup and very easy to zero. Was able to zero these sights at 50 yards in about 10 minutes. My only issue, and the reason for four stars is the take down pin to lower the sights sticks out a little to much for my taste other than that this product is worthy of 5 stars.

Not bad sights for the money! The design is awesome, mine unfortunately were not beveled but square, hence 4 stars. When compared to other sights in this price range they are great, don't expect Troy quality or any other high priced sights at these low prices and you'll be pleased. Again fit and finish are just fine as long as you understand these are not those name brand high dollar sights.

sights i received are slightly different than shown. The set i received didnt have the exposed pin the left side but no big deal.The finish appears to be paint or powder coating. Sights are held in the up or down position by spring tension and do not lock in either position. Included was a allen wrench for mouting. Front sight adjustmetnt will require a A1/A2 sight adjustment tool.Overall, based on the price paid i am pleased and would recommend

Good sights for the money. My front one is a bit sticky when mounted. The swivel hits the rail. No biggie, but an annoyance.Also, they don;t automatically flip up. No spring, but one less thing to break I guess.Overall... not bad for the money

Works great easy to adjust.

Cheap, Mil-Spec sight adjustment tool will not work on the front sight. However got them on target in short order and like the way they pop up and have a handy release lock to lower them.

What you pay for is what you get. These are obviously very cheap. Great option for airsoft replicas, bb guns or a .22lr. If you're looking for irons for a a center-fire rifle than you should not consider these.
