PRIMA MARKETING INCART MATTE WAX PASTE OLD WHITE

Been working on finishes on wood, terra cotta pots, etc with wax pastes recently. I've used a few brands, including Gilders (which I would recommend). I needed some white wax to mix/blend, and this one was a bit cheaper so I figured I'd try it. It works the same as the rest, pretty much, but 1. the coverage isn't quite as good as I'd like for white (it's opaque but could be more highly pigmented IMO) and 2. more importantly, it's got a cloyingly sweet vanilla-ish scent that reminds me of the worst olfactory atrocities committed by Bath and Body Works. I'm sure it's meant to cover up the smell of the solvents used to make the wax workable, but it doesn't really cover it up, and on top of that the scent lingers for DAYS. This product more or less works for my purposes, but I absolutely would have gone with another brand if I knew it was scented.Request to manufacturer: please knock that off.

Just what I wanted! Good product for art projects.
