Q: Is this knee pad extra thick enough to use with a rubber yoga mat? I need foam pads for exercise to add cushion.

I added this to my yoga mat and it improved my workout experience. Instead of thinking about how much my knees hurt I can focus on stretching and arm strength etc. My instructor also demonstrates some poses that us this rolled. Since I am tall I sometimes place this at the top of my mat to extend it for things we do on our back. I have another that I use outside for when I need to do something in the garden.

Q: Is this material something i could cut in half easily enough?

Yeah it’s thick but it can be cut with a box cutter.

Q: Will this knee mat slip when used with yoga mats for home workouts?

I have had this knee pad for over a year. I love it. I does not slip on my yoga mat and provides a lot of support as I have issues with my knees.
