A must read for healthy and traditional cooking.
I read Japanese Super Foods and it rekindled my interest in the foods of my childhood in Japan.I had forgotten about the simple, healthy and beautiful recipes that I used to experience and this book helped me rediscover those interests again.The imagery of each dish is breathtaking and the descriptions of each recipe is simple and easy to follow I thoroughly recommend this book to those who want to discover traditional and healthy Japanese cuisine.

This is the best cooking book!!
This book is a great Japanese cookbook. You can learn about the wonderful ingredients of Japan. And best of all, you can use kombu, one of Japan's great ingredients, to create delicious dishes. I am Japanese, but I was reminded of the wonderfulness of Japanese food.

Delicious from start to finish - Itadakimasu!
I am very happy to report that not only is this amazing cookbook beautifully designed, researched, and written but I consider myself one of the lucky few who has been able to experience Ms. Komatsudaira's cooking in-person firsthand, and let me tell you, it is out of this world! Thank you, Yumi-san for sharing your passion and knowledge of sea vegetables and Japanese cuisine with the world. (and for signing my copy!) I am forever grateful. This book is a must-have for delicious living.

Very nice
Ive been learning to cook and this book has been such a great help! Have a good variety of dishes well explained great pictures over all 10/10! I love this cookbook because it has a lot of great practical recipes. Makes you realize how many different things you can make so easily!!
