The Nifty MiniDrive 4GB - for Mackbook Air 13

It seems to be well made and is much more aesthetic than a regular micro SD card adapter. It is ideal for leaving the card in your macbook for extended periods so as to expand your storage cheaply.

I love this device!Works fast and save a lot of data space on your MacBook.

This is a GREAT idea to increase storage on my MacBook Air. The only issue that I had when i got the MiniDrive was that it would crash my computer for the first couple of day (2-3days). It was a little frustrating but after that I have forgotten I have the drive on my airbook where I have place videos and other pictures. If it was not for the crashing i would give it the five stars but other than that it has been great. I would still recommend this to anyone who want more storage.

The Nifty Drive was a great purchase! I input a PNY High Performance 128gb MicroSDXC card in and it has performed perfectly. The Nifty Drive sits perfectly flush against the side of my MacBook Air. I did plenty of research on its competitors and am very happy I settled on this one. After imputing the drive, I restarted my computer and the drive was recognized right away, with no need for formatting. It literally took seconds to set up and start using. Couldn't be happier.

This did not work on my Mac and I had to return it. It would not read the sd card. (The same sd card in a different adapter worked fine). It did work on a PC laptop. Not sure what is up with the Mac

as advertised great quality, sticks out a little on the side of my macbook pro but mine is a few years old now so I expected as much, highly recommend its an easy way to get up to an extra 120gb of storage if you traveling or on vacation with out the need or hassle of an external HD

This is pretty cool - I was able to add a lot of storage to my 13" Macbook Air, which was quickly diminishing. The only downside is that my computer frequently "forgets" this drive is in and has to be restarted (i.e., it will say "Photos cannot open - cannot find library"). It gave me quite a bit of headache. BUT it's definitely better than not having enough storage space - ugh! :/

Very handy. My wife has a lap top without a ton of space so this is a great use of the SD slot that would otherwise go unused by her.

What a fantastic product, got it with a 64gb micro as card to hold all my photos on my 128gb air, worked a treat after setup of which there are guides to do so for iTunes and iPhoto on their website. I liked it so much I purchased a 200gb micros sd to make it future proof, unfortunately the air I had doesn't support that storage and problems came when it couldn't unmoving and remount after going to sleep. Got a 128gb card and works perfectly. You will need to download a paid program to automatically unmount and remount following sleep, otherwise your computer will not fully enter sleep mode and will eat up battery. However after setup it has worked very well, and freed up a huge amount of space on the computer. It works perfectly for hosting your iPhoto's or iTunes library, haven't tried it with games or software as would prefer this to run on the faster internal ssd drive.

Der Nifty passt super in ein MBA und schließt bündig mit dem Gehäuse ab.Auch die Ansteuerung der Karte funktioniert ohne Probleme.Ich habe dort z.B. Musik und Videos gespeichert welche normalerweise auf meinem Server liegen, für die Unterhaltung bei langen Flügen. So würde es mich nicht stören, wenn die Daten bei einem Defekt nicht mehr aufgerufen werden können.

Recibirlo, encajar la MicroSC, colocarlo en el MacBook Air y a trabajar.Sin problemas con la MSD de 128Gb que le he montado.El color exterior es el mismo que el del MacBook Air y es muy sencillo retirarla; como dice en la descripción, no es necesario ninguna herramienta o útil.Previamente compré un producto similar por un precio muy inferior y me dio problemas; "lo barato sale caro".
