These boots are excellent for anybody cosplaying Billy/Shazam. One drawback....spray paint applied appears to stay tacky. (Try spray on clear rubber)

I work at a cheese factory and everything is slippery. These boots have not slid on most surfaces. Butter fat seems to be the slickest substance on the planet. Grips everywhere else in the plant.

These are good for me as an inspector on muddy sites in the summer. They're surprisingly comfortable. Go on like slippers. I've mine rolled down to the cut line. I only use the white boots in the summer otherwise the sun burns the feet in black boots. I don't wear these everyday. I have flat feet and use work insoles. The soles are well formed and supportive or else my feet would hurt. In my experience rubber boots have by far the best feeling soles in work boots. I want regular work boots with solid rubber soles like this. Unfortunately if you see a cutaway its always foam and junk. Just the real simple solid rubber is the best ever.

I wear a size 9 in all my shoes, but a 9 in these boots was too large; a size 8 fit perfectly, with a single pair of thick hiking socks. I got this particular style because they have good traction; I plan to use them mostly on our boat, where the decks get wet and slippery. I also like that these are tighter around the calf than many others. (I mean, they aren't tight, but they fit more snug than others I've tried.) Recommended.
