Just what I needed
Most of the wall protectors are just adhesive but I needed one that screwed into the wall first. I actually was replacing a very old shower curtain holder that was plastic and had broken . I now was able to replace the wall protector and put back up a new extension shower curtain rod with out damage to the wall. It was also nice to see it was made in the USA. , also one other thing is the depth as you are letting your rod set into the fixture it actually will stop the rod from leaving the fixture as you are extending the rod for a tight fit to hold the curtain rod up and not fall on you . Thank You

Best invention ever……
These are terrific. We were putting up a spring rod type of shower curtains and didn’t want to put holes on the wall. These set up so easy that we didn’t use the adhesive or nail mount. Our tile has a lip so with the rod at the correct length holds them up and protects the wall. Genius!

so far so good
I use the rod here as a clothesline. It kept sliding down the wall when I loaded it up with clothes. I installed this today - easy to do and it appears that it will do exactly what I need it to

Saved my walls
I just had our walls fixed from a tension mounted shower rod that took off the paint and didn’t want to use it again. I found these wall protectors and decided to give them a try with the tension rod. I can’t believe how easy it was to use them and they held the rod really well. I could actually hang towels over the rod without it moving or coming down. Great find!!!

It works
I use an extra tension rod in the back of my shower to provide a place to hang washcloths and the spray bottle of shower cleaner. I was placing it against the wall, resting on the shower ledge, but that eventually caused damage to the drywall. I feared that placing it against the fiberglass shower walls would cause damage due to the tension required to prevent slipping on the slick surface. The Wall Nanny works perfect in that spot as it spreads the pressure of the rod and provides a non-slip grip. Works so well that I ordered another set for another bathroom.

I will give another update soon.....
It seems to have a snug little fit and I will update again weeks to come because my shower rod falls often, So we will see. It arrived today. I will say this depending on how your shower rod is made. DO NOT SLIDE IT UP ON SHOWER THE GRAY BACK WILL COME OFF!!The only reason I slid it up was because my shower rod extension on the inside does not push back good enough to go inside the Wall Nanny- Eventually I finally got it. I live in a Apartment so I can't use the hardware that came with it, I don't think I will need it though.

Why didn't I buy this years ago?!
For years I've been constantly battling with my shower curtain rod, which is a tension rod that would loose it's grip at least once a month and always mid shower. A normal person would have looked for a solution to this problem long before it drove them insane, unfortunately that was not my case. So finally getting it in my head that there are solutions to this problem I did what most people do now and days and hopped on Amazon to find help. I found this product and knew I needed it in my life. Well I must say after the incredibly easy instillation, I am now taking showers without fear of my shower curtain attacking me. I definitely recommend to those that also have vengeful shower curtain rods because the Wall Nanny puts your shower rod in its place and keeps it there!

Need something rental friendly
I never opened the package because I noticed the item had to screwed in using a drill and being that I'm renting, I chose not to go with this option.
