First, the product arrived lightning-fast and it was packaged very well.These placemats are very beautiful! You know how sometimes when you order something online then when you receive it, it doesn't always look the same. Well not, in this case, they really are beautiful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that they are not made of one solid piece of material. They are woven or sewn, which in my opinion, adds to the beauty. Just be aware that because of this, spills can (and will) seep through to the surface they sit on.I'm ok with it, I just pick them up and clean the surface below immediately after use.

These are beautiful. They aren't non-slip unless they are talking about on glass or another surface that isn't wood. I have a wood dining room table (which I'm sure most people have) and they slide. I haven't been able to find any placemat that doesn't slide unless it has some type of rubber backing, or are plastic with felt like backing. Neither can be washed in the dishwasher (top shelf) like these can.

I love the texture but don’t put anything hot on top of it and I’m taking about a bowl of soup or a cup of coffee. The heat goes right through it.

Color is nice. But they are very thin, flimsy and cheap. If you are looking for a firmer and sturdier placemat, these are not what you want. Will be ok for everyday use but would not use these for guests or special dinner table. Was hoping they’d be nicer.

I bought this for our dining table and it goes well with the table since they match. Its sturdy but does not stay in place. When something spills its easy to wash off but kind of a tug to scrub.
