A good idea!
If you're thinking of, or have already purchased the wedgits pack - I feel that this is a must. I have purchased one and will later purchase another. It provides a great base and allows you to build more confidently, as the base provides a sturdy foundation.I would definitely suggest purchasing this if you buy a set of wedgits. Although it's not essential, it just makes way for a better building surface.

my grandchildren have had wedgits for some time and love playing with them when they visit me great toy to keep them busy and away from the computer games that children seem to have fixed to their hands
