it stays. the cushion does not move. now the problem is that when you want to lift the cushion off, the Velcro part is strong and will not come a part but the adhesive part is weak and peels off easy so you have to reach in and place your hand between the 2 Velcro with out pulling a part the adhesive.beyond that works great. I'm just not going to remove it unless I have to. i gave it five stars because it does what i need it to do.

These come in a roll, and getting them flat to use was a challenge. I have a couch with 3 seat cushions and the middle one always wants to slide out. I put a strip about 6 inches long on the cushion, 1 towards the back, and 1 at the front.I was worried because the tape seems to come off very easily, meaning if you lift the cushion, the Velcro stays together and tape comes off the couch.However, in use, the cushion stays in place, so I am happy with the product over all. I would buy it again, but I would prefer shorter flat strips instead of the long rolls.

I put these on my couch a couple months ago. They have definitely helped with cushions sliding and dont have to be adjusted nearly as much. However, slowly but surely the cushions are creeping forward and will need to be readjusted. Every time I do it, the strips get less and less sticky making it harder to actually stay on causing me to have to buy more and reapply.

Look if you have children or animals you will know that the couch cushions get pushed off and you are reorganizing your couch a lot. My dogs tend to always want to sleep in the cracks and let me tell you this holds my cushions on. I have a 90lb boxer.The adhesive sticks well and has a decent strength.Only problem I have is I can't remember where I put the rest of my roll so I'll be buying again soon.

I finally use this product, and the pieces don't stick together. Don't waste your money.

It works!!! This was the solution for my couch problem! My cushions keep slipping and my husband is not putting it back the way it is so instead of me getting annoyed all the time. I bought this and now the cushions stay put and doesnt move at all even if I jumped on it (I tried)

I love this hook and loop. I bought dog vests that had a molded kind of hook and loop that was less prickly and didn't stick to everything it touched in the wash and I looked everywhere for that kind of hook and loop. This is it. It's easier to sew through. It's not uncomfortable to press against yourself. It still sticks really well as long as you kind of press it together at first instead of just setting the parts together. I hope I can find this still when I need more. It'll be a while before I do but I don't ever want to go back to the other stuff.

Bought to keep my couch cushions from always sliding! Keep in mind you need both tapes, they connect with each other!

As it says this product is well packed and arrived on time, very strong adhesive so 5* from me.

Works great. Held our ikea leather couch in place. Even with 2 young boys constantly jumping on the couch. A must if with any new couch.

I'd give the strength of the velcro a 5/5, but that is also the downfall. The velcro is so strong that we have the same problem as other reviewers. When the cushions do slip, the velcro doesn't separate. The adhesive lets loose on the couch. Overall I'd give it a 3/5. We have used the whole roll and due to the adhesive letting go and loosing it's stickiness we do still have to reposition the cushions, though not as often as we did prior to purchasing this product.
