The colors (blue, green, and red) are bright and the attached cord is plenty long. The cord has an on/off switch so you don't need to unplug it to turn it off, although I leave it on all the time. It's mounted on plexiglass and has two holes that makes it simple to hang on a wall. If you're looking for a way to brighten up a gamer's life, this will do it!
