Quality is ok. There were a lot of bamboo sticking out of the corners of the steamer. Lots of mini pieces of bamboo debris all around & inside the product. The construction around the bottom of the steamer is somewhat poor, not symmetrical at all. It also had a very strong odor when it arrived.

Excellent for the price

We use it to steam trade Joe’s dumplings, which our family goes through a lot of, during school/work weeks. Our earlier bamboo steamer was purchased from Marshall’s and it lasted us a good 2 years. The inner ring in this one started to come apart in about 4 uses.

This basket did the job. It’s pretty flimsy and I feel like a could potentially get a splinter, but it’s inexpensive and does the job it supposed to do.

Very frail. Would not stand a lot of use, but as I will only use this occasionally, it’s ok. The way the bamboo is woven in the tray of the steamer leaves big gaps so would not be able to have smaller items placed in it. Sits on top of a 3 quart pan very well.

You pay for what you get, in this case a very thin material and flimsy quality. Have seen better. Not going to last as long as other items with better structure and materials.

These are well made. I did not use them for their main purpouse, but as trays for a Japanese themed event I decorated. They held up great, nicely built. One set arrived damaged and it was quickly replaced on time for my event, no questions asked!
