They arrived a full week ahead of the promised time Organic, not old. Dry limas are no longer stocked in the 2 natural food stores within 50 miles of my home. All the $$ saved in fuel as well!!

I have difficulty finding good lima beans in grocery stores. I found that Sprouts did not sell lima beans. My generic grocery store had some bags but my experience with those was bad - hard and didn't cook well - probably very old. I always check the expiration date on beans (yes they have it) but there was something wrong with the generic store bought beans.

Just received them today haven't tasted them yet,but the beans are in Good condition and have good color.Only found maybe have dozen broken beans in the entire 4 lb. bag.Will cook some this weekend.
