Hardcastle Rubber Dumbbell Hex Weight Set - Choice of Size

I have a frozen shoulder so needed to work on it's mobility. Light weights rather than anything massive are required. I ordered the hard castle and was pleased with the product. The pairs of weights are acceptably close in terms of weight. Within a few percent. I found the grips had good knurling so did not slip and the diameter of the grips and their profile comfortable. As others have mentioned the rubber smell but that passses. My niggles if I had any were the fact I ordered three sets of weights and I was charged three sets of postage. Had I ordered from the hardcastle website direct the weights would have been slightly cheaper and I would have only been charged once for postage. Equally I received three separate packages. Which were delivered on two different days. Items well packaged. I would buy this product again.

UPDATE - It took a year for the smell to fade and even now, 18 months later, it hasn't completely gone.They are nice weights but they absolutely stink of a nasty rubbery chemical substance. I have to keep the window open and the room smells within an hour of shutting it. After two weeks there is no reduction in the smell and browsing online nobody seems to have found a way to get rid of it.I am pretty sure it is the same for different brands. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturer was the same as the markings seem to be identical on all of them. My previous set of dumbbells, from a different brand, had the same problem.

The hexagonal shape is great not just for the anti-roll thing, but they also make great push-up stands (they're not designed for this, so should probably say it's a bit risky to do this!?). I'm using them in my P90X3 programme that mixes push-ups and weights in quick succession so I find these ideal.I'm knocking off a star because on arrival they had a greasy coating (probably part of the manufacturing process and very easy to wipe off) and the grip coul dbe a little more comfortable. Otherwise, great product.

Bought these for quarantine and really happy with these! These are my favourite dummbells I use at the gym. Professional, great grip.

Quite bulky but really good looking set of weights.The bars can cut into your hands a bit to start off with until you wear them in. Seem allot heavier the dumbbells at the gym even if they are suppose to be the same weight!Loving them tho! Great set for home use.

Very prompt delivery, quicker than was estimated. The weights are very good, a tad heavier than I anticipated but good for certain leg workouts, I originally got them for arm workouts as I already have 3kg and wanted a bit heavier for some excersises, didn't realise that extra few kilos would be that bit more of a challenge, getting used to them now, guess I'm getting stronger!!
