Rapesco 1456 24/8 mm Galvanised Staples, Pack of 1000

These heavy duty staples work really well. I should have bought a bigger box though.

These are great little staples if you only want to keep a couple of sheets together. They are very pretty but not for heavy duty stapling

These didn't fit my staplers but reasonable price so will keep. The width was ok but height not.

There is nothing at all wrong with these staples. Other than they are the wrong size and don't fit my staple gun.Why?Because I was ignorant of the fact that there are different types of 8mm staples and I just ordered the first ones I saw.While these are more than likely a standard size, they are incompatible with the cheap staple gun I bought.There is no indication of the type needed other than 8mm.It seems that I need a different gauge of staple wire, or that the stapler is a completely non-standard item.I think the simplest thing is to dump the stapler and buy a Rapesco one that will accept the staples from them.As I only use it a couple of times a year, it may not be in the near future.Simply stated, I should have done my research and not relied on a cheap stapler.

Perfect for the job I needed which was outside in the garden. These hopefully wont rust.

Copper staples should corrode less than steel in long term storage situations, combined with a flat clinch stapler they are perfect for my coin storage.
